Kicking Off Campaign 2017

The Democrats held a gala at Harbor Bistro on Sunday, June 11 to present their candidates for election 2017.  Supporters overflowed the restaurant, wined and dined while listening to the music of Job Potter, candidates Judge Tekulsky, Jeff Bragman, and Peter Van Socyoc.  Co-Chair Ilissa Meyer introduced the slate of candidates which included the Town Trustees, Carole Brennan-Town Clerk, Steven Tekulsky –Justice, Kathee Burke Gonzalez and Jeffery Bragman  for Town Board and Peter Van Scoyoc for Supervisor. Seems some people interested in politics play guitars and sing!

East Hampton Democrats are poised for a stronger than ever campaign to maintain our majorities on the East Hampton Town Board and our Town Trustees as well as to elect strong Democrats to County offices in November.
Once again, we need your help
in the key elements of election success…
  • Voter registration
  • Petitioning
  • Phone Outreach
  • Door to door canvassing
We must do better than ever this year, not only to overcome strong challenges but to impress on the national Democrats and private citizens who fund campaigns that we have the people power and policies to defeat Republican Lee Zeldin, Donald Trump’s most ardent supporter, in next year’s 2018 Congressional election.
We have improved our systems to better support your participation.
“Zone Leaders” will make materials and training available at convenient locations, find partners for you where needed, and make sure that your work and ideas are well used.

To make this system work, we need to know the election district in which you reside.
