Patrice grew up in  East Setauket, and is a proud alumni of Stony Brook University. She has carved out a rewarding career in the global pharmaceutical industry, with significant time spent in influential roles at Genentech in San Francisco, CA, and BMS in Princeton, NJ.

In 2014, Patrice returned to her beloved East Hampton, where she had previously resided in the 1990s, and became a full-time resident, embracing the community once again.

Since 2016, she has been an active member of the Springs Citizens Advisory Committee (SCAC), demonstrating her dedication by serving as Vice Chair and spearheading various impactful initiatives during her tenure, including Emergency Communications and Water Quality.

In recognition of her commitment to environmental protection, Patrice was elected as the Board President of the Accabonac Protection Committee (APC) in 2019. During her leadership, the APC launched an unprecedented program of community education and collaborated extensively with governmental and environmental organizations to monitor and improve the ecological health of Accabonac Harbor. This collaborative effort resulted in remarkable achievements, including comprehensive water monitoring, identification of pollution sources, and the transformation of several harbor properties into Nature Preserves to eliminate or prevent polluting septic systems, driven by the Town with the APC’s encouragement.
